I really liked the process of making an album for Effie, so I decided to make another for my friend Maria whose birthday is approaching. I used a chipboard album from Sfragidomania and covered the pages with DCWV papers from the Garden Party paper stack.
As you can tell, green and pink is my favorite color combo, so I couldn't resist the temptation to use it once again! Also, I had the genious idea to write her name by mixing greek and english letters, but I just realized that it looks like I've written Mapia and not Maria! LOL!!!
As for the tiny flowers, I bet you've seen them again in my projects, it's a super easy and fast to make them, one of these days I'll make a post about how you can make them too!
I really love the image on the right page, it's a BW image I found online, I just printed it and colored it with my copics and on the back I wrote my wishes for my friend.
On this page I made a gatefold mini, I also added a separate photo tag on the back.
This is the back side of the photo tag on the right, I made a journaling spot, the stamps are from a Crafty Secrets clear stamps set, I colored it with my copics and finished it with colored pencils.
The image on the left is another BW image that I printed and colored with my copics, the "Mat Queen" was so suitable for my friend!
Here I made a trifold mini (on the left) and a booklet (on the right). The stamp is Crafty Secrets as well.
For the last two pages I made another tag and another mini mini (LOL!) the sweet Tilda was a loan from Joanna (thanks a bunch Joanna!) I was inspired from Effie's card and I made the background.
I guess my friend will like the album, she's not into scrapbooking but she loves the cards I make for her...and I hope you'll like it too!

I'm watching Gina K's videos on Youtube (Stamp TV) for quite some time now and I always enjoy them, she always shows simple and interesting techiques, things that anyone can try. Recently, I wanted to try her Pure Luxury cardstock, but I couldn't find any information about delivery to Greece. So I email them and they answered that they in fact do deliver to Greece through Priority mail, check out the details in THIS link. So, I ordered two of her Pure Luxury cardstock for stamping, cardmaking etc and the "A year of flowers" stamp set, total delivery cost 12,95 in a Priority Mail enveloppe. My parcel was delivered to my door, 7 days after the purchase! I didn't have as yet the time to make something with it, I just played a little as you can see in the picture, I used prismacolor pencils, and I really like the cardstock a lot, it is extra smooth, sturdy, the colour is pure white but not the greyish one, it has a warmer very subtle tint. As for the stamps set, they come in one rubber sheet and you have to cut round the stamps, a little tricky if it is the first time (for me it was) but apart from this they are gorgeous, really well defined and they come ready with an adhesive backing that clings to the acrylic block.
Very happy with the total experience, one more checked and trusted retailer!
Playing with pencils is always fun, either with stamps or just sketching stuff. I use Prismacolour Premium pencils (bought them at a sweet price on ebay) because they are creamy and blend well. Besides the pencils, the paper also makes a huge difference on the final results, so I always use Winsor and Newton's Bristol paper pad because it is really smooth, ideal for stamping, sketching, whatever. When I color stamped images, I always use a black ink (to stamp) that won't bleed , for instance Versafine, and when I'm finished I like to outline the image with a dark marker. Paper stumps are really usefull (in various sizes) in combination with an odourless spirit (I use Sansodor) because it makes blending easier, although you can have beautiful results without them, it's just a matter of taste.
I made a little thank you card for my mom: - Crafty Secrets "Fairyland" stamps set - American Crafts cardstock - colored pencils - Inkadinkado "Asian by design" stamps - Ranger stickles
I stamped the bird and the nest on white cardstock, then painted them with colored pencils. Then I stamped the folliage on green cardstock. For the branch, I simply cut a strip of white cardstock, made some lines and then painted over them in a lighter shade of brown. I glued them all on my card, and I added a little of stickles gluefor the shine and two butterflies.
